They cabin was really cool! My friends and I loved our stay here!

We loved how the cabin was laid out. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with tools and gadgets for cooking just about any meal. The kids enjoyed playing outdoors and spent the majority of the time running around the backyard. This is definitely on the top of the list of any other cabins we have stayed at over the years. The owner is also really responsive to any questions we had during the stay. We would definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay. The cabins and amenities were great – both inside and out. The location was very convenient. The hosts were great before and during the stay. I am hesitant to recommend it since if I do I am afraid I will not be able to book it again.

We loved our stay. The cabin was perfect for our large group of 6 adults, 6 kids, and was very homey and cozy, easy to hang out and cook and relax, and plenty of sleeping spaces. And the outside was great too, firepit, grill, swings, zip line, bocce court, areas to climb for the kids. Also, great proximity to the valley and high country. Communication with the host was easy and smooth. We were very happy and would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay!! The property is incredibly located for access to Yosemite and the house has a wonderful family vibe with super fun outdoor amenities, including a pizza oven and open fire pit for s’mores. Gene was fantastically responsive and helpful, and he helped us make the vacation perfect. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation during a very challenging covid-y summer.

Property very close to the park entrance. House has been built with many special details and family photos which make it a very personal experience. house has sandbox, swings, zip line that kids really enjoyed.

Gene was a pleasure to work with. Everything was ready for us when we got there and the cabin has everything you could possibly need or want!

This cabin was a perfect location for our family reunion. We had 8 adults and 5 kids, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. It’s in a beautiful woodsy area. Although there is a lot of fun stuff for kids by the house (swings, log bridges, bocce ball, etc.) most of the time the kids just played in the woods and loved it. There are lots of cute touches around the property, like marshmallow skewers, “fairy houses”, and more. We used the cabin as a home base to visit Yosemite, and it worked great. It took about an hour to get to Yosemite Valley, and about an hour and a half to Tuolumne Meadows. You can’t find places much closer without staying in the valley, and we would not have found a large comfortable cabin there to fit our whole group.

The property looks much better than the photos. It is lovely for a group or a big family. The area around the house is as nice. It is very close to rainbow waterfalls and an easy drive to Yosemite!

Thank you for the best vacation ever!! My family loved everything about the trip. The setting and cabins were all we had hoped for and even more! They were just lovely with many artistic touches. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice, the kitchen was well equipped and there was even a playground area for the little ones. The location was very close to Yosemite, so we could easily go into the park almost every day. We also explored several nearby quaint towns. Our host was extremely helpful and answered all questions very promptly. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the future!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Gene’s cabin. It is perfectly appointed for a large family and well situated for visiting Yosemite. Our kids spent almost the entire time running through the woods or climbing on the playground equipment. I would highly recommend it to any large group with young kids. Thanks Gene!

My siblings and I planned a long weekend to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday. It was the perfect spot! The cousins (ages 4-13) were endlessly entertained by the natural environment and the swings. They would have spent the entire weekend playing outside (without any requests for screen time). The adults enjoyed the quiet of the forest, sitting by the bonfire, grilling, and finding everything we needed in the cabin. We could have easily enjoyed our long weekend without leaving the property, but we made a couple easy trips into Yosemite National Park. When we planned the trip, I was disappointed that we weren’t able to get a place in the park, but I’m so glad it worked out the way it did. If we do another visit to Yosemite, especially with a big group, we would absolutely stay here again.
